The problem
Turning a logo into a usable stencil by hand means clicking through every letter, every closed shape, and manually drawing bridges. Lazrit does it in one pass with material-aware widths.
How Lazrit handles it
- Upload your designLogo, lettering, illustration — any artwork. Lazrit vectorizes it if it's a raster.
- Pick the stencil modeIn the workspace, set the project mode to 'stencil-safe' (or use the preset on upload).
- Auto-bridge runsEvery interior counter and floating island gets bridged at the material's minimum width.
- Review and refineDrag bridges to spots where the resulting paint gap will be least visible.
Frequently asked questions
Does the stencil converter work with cursive scripts?
Yes — most cursive letters connect into the main field by their natural strokes, so the converter has less work to do.
Can I use the converter for reverse stencils?
Yes — see the reversed-out-text tool for the deep dive.
What if my design has very tight counters (e.g., 'e')?
Lazrit picks a bridge width consistent with the minimum-detail setting. If the counter is below threshold, you'll get a warning and a recommendation to enlarge the letter.
Can I save my stencil-bridge tuning as a workflow?
Yes — saved workflows let you re-apply the same stencil tuning to any future upload.
